GET /v1/rules · rules:read

A rate belongs with its conditions.

Filter by country and jurisdictionId. Keep each rule's effective dates, currency, calculation basis, accommodation category, exemptions, seasonal conditions, maximum nights and collection responsibilities.

Provenance includes the original public source URL, retrieval date and retained-content hash when available. Raw retained artifacts are private; the API does not expose storage credentials.

Taxes in overlapping jurisdiction levels may be cumulative. Do not replace them with the single most local result. A complex or unsupported calculation must remain available for review.
